Martha Stoumen is a trailblazing natural winemaker based in Sebastopol, CA, who is working to reshape the future of the wine industry by prioritizing a culture of patience, and letting nature lead the way.

My current role includes overseeing all social media platforms, email marketing efforts, and web updates. This includes community engagement across all platforms, content production (from concept to completion), and content strategy.

Achievements so far include:

  • Building a robust UGC Collaboration/Influencer Marketing network, partnering with various creatos (including Miekala Figueroa, Justine of Justine’s Table, Emily Alben of Almond Milkmaiden, and Paige Auber).

  • Producing and photographing all campaigns in house on 35mm and analog video formats.

  • Ideating and designing all in-house printed materials, in tandem with Head of Marketing.

  • Completely redesigning email marketing efforts to be more brand-aligned with web and social.

OSEA Malibu is an all natural, family-owned and vegan skincare company based in Los Angeles.

  • Holiday 2021: Still imagery to be used across Instagram grid, stories, and paid ads.

  • 2022: Regular UGC creation throughout the year, including two of the highest grossing social posts in 2022.

    • Earth Day: A Reels video with tips for upcycling your empty skincare containers.

    • Winter Solstice: A Reels video with step-by-step simmer pot instructions for welcoming the solstice.

    • Holiday: A Reels video detailing how to upcycle a brown paper bag into holiday wrapping.

2020-2022: Social Media and Community Lead at The Good Trade.

The Good Trade is a premier lifestyle resource for sustainable living.

My role included—but was not limited to—original content creation (both still imagery and video), writing engaging and compelling copy, and building a cohesive visual identity to maintain an engaged audience of over 165,000 Instagram followers and a total social audience of over 240,000. Since coming on board in 2020, my role had developed from personally executing daily cross-channel social posts to managing multiple F/T and P/T Social Coordinators and Creative Interns and overseeing content sharing.
